On the third day of webOS-mas,
My true love gave to me,
Three Touchstone Chargers,
Two printing methods,
And webOS quick install.
Ah! The Touchstone! Wireless charging done right, using magnets to position. Exhibition mode – still somewhat under explored, but perfect to make a slideshow of all your Christmas cards! There is the original phone ‘hockey puck’, the Touchpad version and if you have the money and desire, the unreleased Touchstone 2 with bluetooth & audio line-out that can rarely be found on auction sites.
On the first day of webOS-mas, my true love gave to me, webOS Quick Install.
The program that allows you to sideload apps, patches and gain command line access to your device. Where would we be without it? Thanks Jason Robitaille!
2013 is almost over and what a year for webOS it has been! Ok, so it’s been pretty sleepy around here, but there are many things that webOS users have been “given” over the years that we are certainly still using. In fact, these things are what make being a webOS user still fun, easy, and relevant today. So, for the next 12 days…let’s call it the “12 Days of webOS-mas”…we’ll be paying homage to 12 of the most important technologies, apps, utilities, and functions of webOS. The first one comes tomorrow so after you wake up from your “afternoon-gift-coma-nap” head on over and check it out.
