  Name: webOS Users
  Description: Those currently using any form of the webOS platform.
  Status: TV users can be guessed from LG sales figures in the millions. It is very difficult to estimate numbers of legacy & open webOS users. HP may know how many profiles are being actively used. From a potential maximum of 500,000, the actual number must be much less. 750+ donated to the ACL Kickstarter. Any information on user numbers will be gratefully received and can be posted on this thread. Some new legacy users are still appearing! Add yourself here. Currently: 335 & counting.
• webOS Systems
  Name: webOS (Legacy)
  Description: A mobile operating system released by Palm Inc. Later bought by HP, then sold to LG.
  Latest Versions: 1.45, 2.24, 3.05.
  Status: In use. No further official updates expected. Legacy. The development team was sold to LG and the patents to Qualcomm. HP closed the Palm profile & app catalog servers on the 15th of April, 2015.
  Recent: HP is shutting down webOS cloud services — including backups, device set-up, and the App Catalog — on 15 January 2015 | webOS Nation

  Name: LG webOS
  Description: A version of webOS for smart TVs.
  Version: 5.00.04
  Status: Revealed. webOS TV sets debuted on the 6th of January at CES 2014. webOS will be on about half of all LG TVs, 70% of smart TVs & all Ultra HD 4K models. LG is backing the Enyo project for app development.
  Recent: LG will update 2014 sets to LGwebOS 2.0. Upgrade Pack Roll-out from 21st September, 2015

  Status: 23/05/2013 Mobile Nations Header and footer links to webOS Nation were removed with the beginning of ‘TM13’ ( June 2013). The site itself will remain and restoration may occur if there are significant events (i.e. LG) in the future. Forums remain active.
  Recent: With a post celebrating 15 years of mobile Nations and one on a rumoured LG webOS SmartWatch, three stories have now appeared on webOS Nation.
